Halloween DIY Costumes

Halloween is today, and many of us will be scrambling to find something to wear this evening. Here are four last-minute Halloween costumes that are easy, cute, and best of all probably already in your closet!

Some of the easy, cute, last minute Halloween costumes are:

1. Vampire

2.A mime

3. Harley Quinn from suicide squad

4. Snapchat filters

#1 Vampires:

You could be a vampire! All it takes is a bit of makeup and some dark colored clothes.

1. Choose a fabric like bloody red taffeta or midnight black silk to make your outfit look vampiric.
2. Lay out fabric on a plain surface and cut out cape according to your measurements. You could choose between rough edges or refined ones ( Give them a hem).
3. Girls could add a skirt and guys could wear a simple hood.
4. For the face, you could use some dark blood red lipstick and smudge it up, with some stains going down the sides.
5. Girls: Apply large amounts of mascara and makeup to the eyes. Victorian vamps are always perfect and without facial flaw. Use a pale blush color for the dead look.
6. Guys: Make dark circles under your eyes and a pale blush.
7. Some fake fangs can be made by rolling up small pieces of paper or they could be bought at a dollar store. ( Very inexpensive.

#2  Mimes:

You could be a mime! All it takes is some cheap white and black paint, black or white gloves and a black and striped top.

1. Wear a black and white striped top and black pants. If you do not have such a top, it can be painted on a light colored shirt.
2. White, black, or brown gloves will match.
3. For girls, black or brown boots will go perfectly with the outfit.
4. For guys, black or white sneakers will do the job.
5. Paint your face white and let it dry.
6. 
   Carefully with black paint, make two triangles around the eyes like in the picture. Dark red lipstick will look perfect with this look.

#3 Harley Quinn From Suicide Squad

Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad, one of the most popular movies of the summer,  was one of the most talked-about characters from the movie.

1. Wear red/ blue/ white shorts.
2. The top has to be either red and white or red and blue. If you do not own such a top, you can get a cheap white top at a store and paint it yourself.
3. Make two long pigtails. If you do not have such long hair, you can easily clip on some hair extensions.
4. Wear some long fishnet stockings.
5. Wear some dark colored boots, preferably black.
6. Add a choker necklace if you own one, if not, it's not important.
7. If wanted, you could color your hair to red and blue on either side of your pigtails. (Use food-coloring for a temporary look)
8. And of course, don’t forget to carry around a baseball bat!

#4 Snapchat filters

If you are really late in coming up with an idea and there's no time to make up anything else, snapchat filters are the perfect option.

1. Use a cheap, thin hair band.
2. Cut out the shape of which filter you wish to be, for example, a dog, the flower wreath.
3. Attach the shapes to the band using a glue gun.
4. The tongue (if you choose to be the dog filter) can be held up to your lips using a Popsicle stick.
5. Wear a dark colored top and jeans.
6. Cut out the snapchat logo on a yellow piece of paper and attach it onto your top with a piece of double sided tape.

Now you’re all set for tonight, and if all else fails, all you really need is a white sheet and some scissors!
