The Grade Nine Dance of 2017

This year to welcome all the new grade nine students to the Ridge, the fantastic Link Crew leaders upheld the tradition of the Grade Nine Dance. Whether you enjoy dancing with your best buds, buying all the popcorn, wearing some ‘lit’ glow bands, hanging out with some dudes you just met, playing some fierce games of table-tennis or just coming out to have a good time, this year's Grade Nine Dance had it all since there was something special for everyone. The End of a Long Walk as they Turn to Head Back Home

Thursday the 28th was the Ridge’s amazing annual Terry Fox Walk.

Staff and students from every grade joined together in the morning after a shortened first period to celebrate and participate in our yearly Terry Fox Walk. This walk’s purpose is to raise money for cancer research, and to remember Canada’s own, Terry Fox, and the sacrifices he made to help make a difference for the whole world.

Have you ever had a class or even been in Iroquois Ridge’s one and only magnificent (and freezing) theatre? If you have, then you clearly understand the extreme struggle of having to deal with its absurd temperatures. Yes it's real, it's no myth or hoax, not even a fantasy, so if you don't believe in climate change, then you better start believing it because of the theatre's unpredictable climate that is always changing. We can assure you that the theatre is definitely not that capricious, but its frequently changing temperature may leave you stranded wondering about the truth, what is wrong with the theatre?
