DIY Halloween Decorations

It's that time of the year again - Halloween!

Yup that's right! Time for pumpkins, candy, costumes, and best of all Halloween DIY's. So we put together a list of the must-have decorations to get you into the Halloween spirit. Whether you’re throwing a Halloween party tonight, or just want to decorate your room to get into the spirit. Here we go:

BAT-LAMP
What do you need?
  1. Lamp with lamp shade
  2. Black paper
  3. Pencil
  4. Scissors
  5. Glue/Tape

Steps:
  1. Draw 3 or more bats on the black paper, the amount of bats will vary according to the size of the lamp shade. You can also print the bat out using the template.
  2. Cut out the bat that you have drawn using scissors.
  3. Using the tape/glue, stick the bat cut outs on the inside of the lamp shade.
  4. Put the lampshade on the lamp and enjoy your spookified project!

FLOATING GHOSTS
What do you need?
  1. Cups
  2. Scissors
  3. Pen
  4. Marker
  5. Fairy Lights
  6. Tissue Paper (optional)
  7. Glue (optional)

Steps:
  1. Poke a hole in the bottom of the cup using a pen. Make sure to have enough room to have the lights.

  1. Draw the eyes and mouth of the ghost on one side of the cup using a pen or marker.
  2. Cut out the face using scissors
  3. If you have tissue paper, place it over the cup and glue it to the top of the cup. Make sure that the tissues fall below the cup rim.
  4. Place the lights inside the cup using the hole that you created earlier.
  5. Hang it where you would like, plug it in and scare your friends with your boo-tiful creation!

MONSTER EYES
What do you need?
  1. Cereal box/ toilet roll
  2. Glow Stick
  3. Transparent Tape
  4. Scissors
  5. Pen/Pencil

Steps:
  1. Draw the monster eyes on one side of the cardboard and cut it out. You can also use these templates.

  1. Stick the glow stick on the back of the cardboard with tape.
  2. Hang or place your spookarific creation in a good spot to scare your friends, make sure it is dark enough so that you can’t see the cardboard.
