Interact's Senior Tea Party 2015

Interact holds some pretty great fundraisers, but sometimes, their events are just there so people in the community can have a good time. The Senior's Tea Party is a non-profit event, yet one of the most important components of Interact's traditions.

This year, Interact served the seniors at Rotary Centennial Tower. The team organized a fun time for everyone involved. The seniors were treated to delicious food, such as egg salad sandwiches, cupcakes, and Rice Krispy squares. While some members of the team prepared the food, others went out to serve the platters and interact with the residents. The mood was carefree and relaxing, thanks to the soothing music provided by some of our musically talented.

The tea party was a light, enjoyable time. Both the residents and the members of the team had fun and it's definitely something to get involved in. It's a great way to get some hours, do something for the elder population, and have a good time.
