Fresh off an NBA championship, your Toronto Raptors begin their path to greatness again. After 9 games of regular season games, it’s clear where the Raptors success lies: holding the Larry O’Brien Trophy. This off-season, they lost crucial players in terms of Danny Green and Kawhi Leonerd. However, many will agree with me when I say that the Raptors are a much better team without Kawhi. Their early success proves that, with a 6-2 win to loss ratio. This season, we get to witness a new starting lineup: your Point Guard, 7 time Raptor, from Pennsylvania… KYLE LOWRY, next up your Shooting Guard from Illinois… FRED VANVLEET, the OMG dude, Shooting Guard from London, United Kingdom OG ANUNOBY, spicy up, Playoff Beast from Douala, Cameroon… PASCAL SIAKAM, last up your 6’11 Centre from Barcelona, Spain… MARC GASOL. After reviewing this roster it’s easy to see that this lineup is deadly. This season Pascal Siakam has been a monster, and he’s shown the whole NBA who is boss. Yesterday, we saw the Raptors play New Orleans and the result was stellar, with a 122-104 point win. Pascal splashed 44 points and snagged 10 rebounds. These stars align with a 28 point per game average, which makes me wonder what else in store for Spicy P and if he can become a MVP this season. We’ll see what accomplishments are in store this year. Next up is OG Anunoby, last season he was developing and watched Kawhi Leonerd carry the main role, but this year OG gets to show his “OMG.” He’s already splashed 21 points which most players don’t do after development. He’s become an absolute monster and only time will tell when he sets himself as a venomous player. Last 2 players to keep an eye on is Fred VanVleet and Kyle Lowry. When I think about these 2 players, I see one thing: 3 point splashes, one after the other. Both of these players have a 40% 3 pointer average and are absolutely carrying the Shooting Guard and Point Guard positions. Thinking about these players, combined with Pascal makes me truly feel that this will be an amazing year.

I expect great things from his team with their new and improved roster and amazing depth that will make every team regret playing them.
