The annual coffeehouse hosted every year by Student Voice, Green Team, and CommCo is always an event to look forward to and this year's coffeehouse did not let down.
Students of the Ridge brought along their families and friends to this enjoyable evening as they snacked on free baked goods donated from a variety of vendors such as Tim Horton's and Cobs while enjoying the entertainment the masterminds behind the coffeehouse organized. Our MC's for the evening were Jacob Myers and Eric Masos, who introduced all the performers and kept the general atmosphere of the evening light, humorous, and pleasant. The performers themselves were very entertaining to watch and some truly memorable performances helped make the entire evening a wonderful time. Because I Am A Girl also got into the action with a raffle for 3 different gift baskets. The raffle was a huge success and the winners will be announced soon. Not only was the night a chance for students to unwind and relax, but also a chance to make a meaningful contribution to the community, as 100% of ticket sales went to two different charities, U.N.I.C.E.F. Kind and the Toronto Wildlife Center, both amazing organizations working to make our world a better place for all of us.

Of course, none of this would've been possible without the amazing people behind the organization of the coffeehouse. A huge thank you to Student Voice, Green Team, CommCo, and Because I Am A Girl who have worked tirelessly the past few weeks to make this event the huge success it was. It was a great evening and I can't wait to go to next year's.
