It's that time of year again. The time of year when the snow is falling and the world outside is white and beautiful.
Er, never mind. But that doesn't make the holidays any less festive. Like every year, Iroquois celebrates the holidays and enters the break with a bang, holding the annual Christmas Assembly!
This year's assembly was an hour long and featured a performance by the choir, 3 fun-filled games, a Christmas story, and the debut of CommCo's Christmas movie.
The choir is made up of the Ridge's most talented vocalists. The various Christmas songs help put the holiday cheer into the assembly.
As for the games organized by StudCo, they were a treat to watch. The games included :
Eating Contest
Gift Unwrapping Contest
and Celebrity Look Alike.
The fun didn't end there though. StudCo treated the audience to a classic Christmas story, The Night Before Christmas, read by none other than Mr. Bigham.
Finally, the assembly was capped off by the long-awaited Christmas movie. About 15-20 minutes long, it was an exciting action thriller pitting Santa and his elves against a band of other legendary figures led by the Easter Bunny. Even Barry the Blazer got into the action. Overall, it was a funny and immensely entertaining movie that capped off a great assembly and sent us off for the break with a smile on our face.
Happy holidays, Ridge and see you in the New Year.
