The Worlds Nobody Can See

There is a world nobody can spy

it's not under the ocean, nor above the sky.

It's right on a Earth, like France or Australia,

but it's filled with strange plants, fish and mammalia.

There are no people, well no humans I mean,

The people are flightless birds that are tall, black and lean.

Covered in fine fluff the birds look like apes,

except with beaks the colour of grapes.

The birds leap through the trees with strong arms and legs,

looking out for anyone who'd want to hurt their eggs.

The birds have primitive houses in the canopy,

where they make wooden tools, this seems like a fantasy.

What the Big Bang Theory Has To Do To Improve

The Big Bang Theory is one of the most successful TV shows of all time. This beloved sitcom revolving around 4 nerds and their female friends scores the highest ratings each week and that's not without good reason. The show's unique premise, excellent cast, and hilarious writing appeal to many. However, lately, the show's not been holding up to its usual standards and as season 8 is coming to a close, more and more people are being disappointed by it's latest offerings. With at least 2 more seasons to go, the Big Bang Theory needs to get it's act together if it wants to continue to enjoy it's success and remind fans why they loved it in the first place.

McMaster's Annual Brain Bee is a chance for aspiring psychologists to test and expand their understanding of the human brain and pursue a future in the very exciting field of neuroscience.

All About AP

AP exams are one of the many opportunities that Iroquois Ridge has to offer. Advanced Placement Exams are self- taught courses that end in an examination run by the school. If you do well on the exam you may be able to count the course as a university credit. In 2013, 5307 students wrote 8233 exams in Ontario alone.

Students take AP exams for many reasons. The most common include; standing out on university admissions, earning university credits, fast-tracking introductory courses in university, and to build skills for post-secondary education. Many people take AP courses simply as an exploration of a topic of interest, possibly to decide if they would like to study it further.  If you are interested in taking an AP exam to count it as a university credit, become familiar with your prospect universities on their rules and regulations.

Model UN Conference 2015

If the title isn't clue enough, this is about the Halton Model United Nations Conference, a program that took place on Tuesday March 31st, or as you may say, yesterday. The Model U.N. is a simulation where students are assigned countries and divided into committees to solve 2 world issues, I was South Korea, and I had to try and tackle ISIS and Police Militarization.
